Unpopular opinion.

Here's an unpopular opinion.
This is something I've learned from fighting in the UFC for years and just being a high-level athlete.

(A quick personal background of myself)
I was Top 10 in UFC for many years.
Last year, I was named Top 20 Entrepreneurs of 2020 by Yahoo! Finance.
I truly believe that one of the reasons why I've been successful in business is because I'm able to take some of the things that I learned from fighting martial arts and being a jujitsu black belt.

So we have something called your game face (i.e. keeping your face relaxed and not showing your weakness, not showing when you're hurt, because it's one of the worst things you can do with your opponent!)

How does that apply in business?
I'll give you a perfect example.
When I was broke, (there are many times that I've been broke in my time or in my life or had cashflow problems) I didn't post it all over social media and I never asked anyone for money.

A lot of people aren't going to like to hear this,
but there are people like me (or you!) and then there are people that are built to be followers and employees, and that's just how it is.

People like me (or us!), the entrepreneurs and the leaders, they see that there's some chaos and that people can't handle the stress and they need some order, so when people get broke, they come whining, "I need money. I need help. What's going on?" and they can't make it through that tough time, and the leaders and entrepreneurs see that and they stay calm.
They stay in control of the chaos.
I don't like to use, "Fake it till you make it," but if you can make it through with your chest held high and your chin up, you're going to be in a lot better position!

So don't go and whine about your problems on social media.
Your competition is going to see that. People are going to...
They're not going to support you.
They're going to hate on you (or laugh at you).
Keep that to yourself.

Keep your nose to the grindstone and keep your game face on.
